Managed to persuade youngest dog to get swimming, but it wasn't entirely successful.
Filmed from the car park of David Austin Roses whilst on the way home. They closed the show, 2 hours earlier than planned thanks to the dreadful weather.
I decided to film both take-offs and landings on our trip to Malta. Contrary to popular belief using electronic equipment during take-off and landing has absolutely no effect on the aircraft's systems. I love flying and I enjoy seeing the ground get further away and closer depending on whether you are going up or down, obviously. Anyway here they are flimed from row 5:
Manchester take-off R05L 12/4/11
Malta landing R13 12/4/11
Malta takeoff R13 19/4/11
Manchester landing R05R 19/4/11
For those interested the aircraft were Thomas Cook Airline's Boeing 757-3CQs. The outbound aircraft was G-JMAA and the return aircraft was sister ship G-JMAB. They were both built in 2001 for JMC Airlines and were the first stretched 757-300s built for the UK market. JMC were eventually swallowed up by Thomas Cook. They have both recently been fitted with fuel saving winglets.
