A day after the Atlas V launch we headed into Kennedy proper for lunch with an astronaut (Fred Gregory, fmr space shuttle commander) and a tour of the main sights. Many of these shots were taken from a tour bus, so dirty windows were not a help!
For me this trip was one of those things on my list of things to do before I die.
A very early start but well worth it to fly over the Floridian swamps and Orange groves.
Leo and I headed out very early to beat the crowds of puffer nutters, I also knew that the 7.25am departure from Bridgnorth was doing breakfast. I had no idea however that it was in the proper dining car which was a nice suprise. So we started the day eating a full cooked breakfast in very nice surroundings. Leo and I then headed back to Bridgnorth via the Engine House at Highley. It was a very nice morning.
